APIBA Letter to Dr Mariano Narodowski
In December 2008, APIBA sent a letter to Dr Mariano Narodowski, Minister of Education of the City of Buenos Aires, regarding the call for English language teachers. The aim of the letter was to make it clear that APIBA is not in agreement with calls in which teachers without the relevant degree may qualify for English language teaching posts in the city.

APIBA's Research Database
Last April, APIBA was very pleased to announce the launching of a new database project. With an eye to sharing research findings and expertise in ELT issues, FAAPI members can now send the abstracts of their final research papers (Licenciaturas, Bachelor or MA programmes) from Argentina or overseas. They will be uploaded to APIBA’s webpage along with the authors’ contact details so that they can be reached by those interested in the topic.

Heard it on the grapevine? Yes! APIBA is pleased to announce that its First-time Presenter scheme is still going strong. To support professional development, one FAAPI enrolment fee will be paid for.
